\(\textit{Balanites vietnamica}\)(Zygophyllaceae), a new species from Vietnam

Balanites vietnamica is described as a new species from Nui Chua National Park in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. It morphologically close to and has been misidentified B. roxburghii but actually differs many vegetative reproductive characteristics. The taxon found narrowly endemic the semi-arid Phan Rang region its distribution area much reduced. described, illustrated with field photographs of detailed botanical characteristics compared related species. This rare assessed CR following IUCN Redlist Categories.
